Mainland & freezone

Businesses with income under AED 375,000 will have no tax.

If your income is under AED 375,000 in a financial year, then you will not be taxed.

Income above AED 375,000 will be taxed at 9%

Corporate tax of 9% levied for businesses with income over AED 375,000 in a financial year

Special tax free status

Special rules for freezone companies

Freezone businesses can be tax-free if they meet the "Qualifying Freezone Person" conditions. If they do business with the UAE mainland, they might lose their tax-free status. If tax-free status is lost, they are taxed like mainland companies (9%).
